THE MIND MOUNTAIN & 'TAILORED TRAILS' COLLABORATION
This is your chance to ride some of the finest singletrack in the southern hemisphere, including the world-famous Blue Derby network, Queenstown on the rugged West Coast and Maydena Bike Park!
These trails are truly world-class. Home to multiple EWS rounds and Red Bull Hardline. This trip is aimed at riders who like to shuttle and get that extra bit of descending in, and those who are also happy to earn their turns when the terrain deserves it. This experience includes everything from on-trail guided riding to individualized coaching, your park passes and shuttles, premium accommodation, and a Woodfired Sauna session on Lake Derby.

Our expedition makes it easy for you to travel with your bike, all on-ground logistics are taken care of including your airport transfers and accommodation. Experience the luxury of private group shuttles in Derby. The Mind Mountain group will have its own dedicated Sprinter Van and driver, which means the ultimate flexibility and ride time!
Jake will be your host, and the trip will be fully supported by the team at Tailored Trails. The ride plan has been designed to make the most of these networks and experience all of the iconic trails of Blue Derby, the West Coast, & Maydena Bike Park, with the added flexibility to adjust the ride plan around weather, conditions, and rider goals at the time.
𝗥𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹 : Intermediate to Advanced.
𝗙𝗶𝘁𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹 : Moderate fitness required, and experience on Blue/Black level riding is recommended.
𝗥𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀 : Expect to ride 20-50km per day, with flexible choices on individual total distances. You will have the freedom to ride with the group, or jump on and off to take some time for yourself if preferred.
𝗚𝘂𝗶𝗱𝗲𝘀 : Travel with locals, the Tailored Trails staff live and ride in the area, and throughout Tasmania. You will have a dedicated van & driver to show you around for the duration of your trip. On-trail guiding sessions are provided by Tailored Trails & The Mind Mountain.
𝗖𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 : Will be provided by Jake, in collaboration with the Tailored Trails guides. As you explore, you'll have the opportunity to sharpen your skills both physically and mentally—learning to tackle new terrain, conditions, and heights with the confidence and control that will keep you grinning from ear to ear!

As always, Jake brings a unique blend of technical coaching, mental strategy, and equipment tuning to every ride. That means you’re not just riding world-class trails - you’re riding them better, with more confidence, intention, and control. Expect personal attention, video analysis, drills, and plenty of feedback on every ride.
Travel in comfort and style in modern Mercedes Benz vans, with expert local drivers and guides who know the trail networks and riding conditions like the back of their hand. Tailored Trails is a rider-owned and operated family-run business, specialising in private group services throughout Tasmania.

Not Included: Flights, food, Bike hire (we strongly recommend bringing your own bike to ensure everything is finely tuned and to your liking), and travel insurance.
So that you can eat like a local, we've made reservations each evening in the best restaurants. While we'll eat together as a group, you'll have the full choice of the menu and can order what you like.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Travel Insurance is mandatory.
Travel insurance provides vital coverage for unexpected situations such as medical emergencies, trip cancellations, lost or damaged gear, and unforeseen accidents on the trail.
