Life won’t magically slow down. The right time is the one you decide on.

If you’re anything like me, and a lot of the riders I see, chances are, you’ve arrived at a point in your life where you no longer crave more things… sure new bikes are fun and all… but more than the latest model who’s differences are negligible from your current bike, you’ve realized what you actually crave is more experiences.
This may sound cliché, but in a world where most of us are lucky to have more stuff than we even have time to use, and can access any and all information at the tap of a finger… the opposite of this overload is naturally what we begin to crave most.
Time spent away from it all - unplugged, unwound, with great people, exploring great places, riding great trails. And if you love Mountain Biking and travel as I do, chances are that experiences like this, soaking in the bucket-list riding destinations, are already something on your radar. Something you’re planning on doing. When the time is right. When you get around to it.
Let’s be honest, though. Life is hectic, we don’t need to look to find reasons to be too busy. And before we know it, another bike season has passed, another year, another decade. And having dreamed these dreams for decades myself, I know as well as anyone that time waits for no one.
All of these MTB Expeditions, building a world-class MTB Coaching Business from the ground up, going on countless bucket-list riding trips and outdoor adventures of my own - I’ve realized that these dreams are only ever one step away from reality.
And sure it might be one big, scary step - like riding a trail blind, rolling in to steep section, exhaling and fully letting go, trusting in your ability to let your body do what it knows and handle whatever comes next. The exhilarating feeling of pure joy that tends to follow moments of grounded trust like this, and actually quite similar to the feelings I get when I pull the trigger and schedule a dream experience.
Because this is HOW we get around to it. We think, but don’t overthink. We plan, but don’t plan too much. And now we’ve made it even easier for you, taking care of every logistic and decision right down to assembling your dream crew of riding buddies, choosing the best trails for the group and conditions each day, booking the uplifts to save your legs and cherry picking only the best enduro loops that would be a plain injustice to drive past.
Getting around to it, becomes a whole different story when all you have to think about is the sound of your tires gripping hero dirt, at a time of the year when you’d usually be suffering through sub-par conditions to say the least.
These are the kinds of life-long memories that come from the freedom of not having to think about anything other than riding your bike for 10 days. The concentrated good times, the compounded growth, and buzz that consistent riding creates. All while sharing the experience with strangers who become friends.
Riding bikes together and bonding over self-exploration, nature, exercise, and travelling through a tapestry of landscapes that feel alive, and leave you feeling more and more alive with each turn.
These are the memories that can't be compared to anything else!
After all, when it comes to stuff… we can’t take it with us… so close your eyes and think of what you do want to take with you…
