Squamish has no shortage of bike shops, which is a good thing, because no doubt your bike will be well ridden here. Whether you need a yearly tune-up, a quick part on a stopover, or you've just moved to town and want a go-to shop for everything bike-related, there's a place for you.
Here's our list of the best spots in Squamish for a bike service, rental, or parts.
One of our favourites in town, Tantalus has been open for over 30 years as one of Squamish's longest-running bike shops. They carry Giant, Pivot and Kona, plus a solid range of parts, clothing and accessories from brands like Fox, Giro and Dakine.
Service runs first come, first served, no appointment needed. Drop your bike off and they'll go over it with you to figure out what it actually needs. Turnaround is always quick, and the shop has a relaxed, helpful feel to it.

Located upstairs from No Limits Motorsports, Squamish Bike Shop handles sales and service under one roof. They're known for attention to detail and are the local authorized dealer for Orbea, Transition, Forbidden and Yeti, with demo options if you're deciding on a purchase.

A service-first shop, Nomadic Mechanic started as a mobile service, as the name suggests, and then expanded and now runs a shop location in Squamish for drop-offs, plus a mobile service that comes to your door for bigger jobs. Based in Vancouver? No problem. For a minimum service spend of $200, Nomadic Mechanic will come to you for those larger jobs.
Open Tuesday to Sunday, with appointments available online and drop-offs at the Squamish location.
They also offer a Bike Tune Up Membership, good for anyone who likes the idea of a wintertime overhaul but would rather pay in bite-sized pieces throughout the year.

A full-service shop built around repairs, professional bike fittings and a gear selection curated for riding in Squamish specifically.
Owned by local legend Greg Day, who has a rich history in mountain biking, starting with racing XC and going on to compete in hundreds of races, becoming the Overall Champion of the BC Bike Race three times. Their service centre handles everything from a quick pre-ride tune to a full suspension overhaul, and they've built a reputation for clear communication and sticking to the timeline they give you. They're also a Kona dealer and one of the newer Patagonia stockists in town, if you're after apparel while your bike's in the shop.

Corsa is Squamish's original bike shop, open since 1982. They run full sales and service, with brands like Specialized, Transition and Santa Cruz on the floor. Now part of the Dunbar Cycles group, which means access to a bigger inventory and online ordering with in-store pickup.
They've recently moved to a new location on Centennial Way and are back to full service. You can book in advance over the phone, but they run about a week out.

RideHub is the one-stop option. Bike shop, mechanics, rentals, and a café all in the same spot, right near the trailheads. If you want a coffee before your ride and a tune-up after it, this is the place.
They've been voted Best Bike Rental Company four years running, and their service side handles everything from tune-ups to custom builds. Good option if you're visiting Squamish without your own bike, or if you just want to fuel up before hitting the trails.
