Modern e-Mountain Bikes are powerful tools—but with added weight, torque, and range, they require a nuanced approach. If you’re riding an eMTB and want to unlock its full potential, you’ll benefit from coaching that understands the differences.

 

Whether you’re new to e-bikes or already deep into the sport, our eMTB coaching is designed to help you harness the unique handling and power delivery of your bike. With the right guidance, you’ll gain the skills and awareness needed to climb smarter, descend smoother, and explore deeper into the backcountry—all while staying confident and in control.

As a proud owner of a Norco Sight VLT-CX, Jake brings firsthand experience to the table—combining lived insight with proven coaching methods to help you ride with confidence, control, and consistency.

Lessons are up to 4 hours as needed, allowing plenty of flexibility and ensuring pedalling up to the trails doesn’t take up all of the lesson time. Ride pace, distance, and trails are customized to meet you where you are at. We start with a phone call before the session to discuss where you are with your riding, where you want to go, and the best way forward. From there, I develop a custom lesson plan based on your unique riding experience and current goals, then adapt along the way ensuring maximum progression. As we explore all four factors of MTB Performance, you can expect bucketloads of personalized Feedback, Video Analysis, Purposeful Drills, and loads of Application time on your favorite trails. Head home with a tank full of stoke and an actionable practice plan to keep the good times rolling! About You: You’re aged between 6 and 106, love riding Mountain Bikes, and want to get better! You’re not just looking for any old lesson. You’re ready for specific feedback, and lots of it. You want to maximize the time spent working on your personal goals, in your specific style of learning.
