Full Itinerary

Once we unite in BC, we begin the BC MTB Expedition with hands-on coaching days in Squamish to sharpen technique and build momentum early. That foundation sets the stage for the high-speed trails of the Whistler Bike Park and the raw, technical descents of Pemberton - so by the time the big stuff rolls around, you’re already dialled in.

PRE-EXPEDITION - GETTING READY TO RIDE BC! ↓

  • Over lunch, we’ll have a ‘welcome chat’ - Introducing you to The Mind Mountain, RideHub, and go over what to expect from the expedition and rides.

  • Easy afternoon pedal on local coastal-rainforest trails - a chance to warm up, get to know the local dirt, your guides, and the group.

  • Evening - twin share accommodation in Squamish.

DAY 2 - SQUAMISH COACHING & SHUTTLE LAPS  ↓
  • Start each day with a ‘morning toolbox meeting’ over coffee. Celebrate wins from yesterday and discuss goals for today while going over the plan and what to expect.

  • Morning: coached session focused on progressions tailored to the group.

  • Afternoon: a couple of shuttle laps to access higher trails and sub-alpine lines with big valley views.

  • Evening meeting over group dinner, with Jake and RideHub guide going over safety points for our big alpine adventure ride tomorrow.

DAY 6 - INTO THE MYSTIC > LORD OF THE SQUIRRELS  ↓
  • Epic alpine climb: we’ll ride the Lord of the Mystic climb into alpine terrain, enjoy a packed lunch with views, then descend Lord of the Squirrels - a long blue-black descent with sustained tech, roots and loam - The stuff dreams are made of, really.

  • The perfect challenge for strong intermediate to advanced riders; not for the faint-hearted.

  • See our fitness description of Rider Profiles 4-6 if in doubt.

DAY 7 - SECOND HELPINGS @ WHISTLER BIKE PARK ↓
  • Your legs get a rest today, but the good times just keep on rolling!

  • Return to the bike park with your guides for another day focused on refining descending skills and integrating wisdom from our alpine mission.

  • Think progressive coaching, line selection and mental strategies to help you unlock your full potential, all while revisiting some of your new favourite trails, and exploring some more!

DAY 8 - EXPLORING THE RUGGED PEMBERTON TRAILS  ↓
  • Morning: light ride and skills session to settle into Pemberton trails, and adjust to the slightly drier, looser terrain Pemberton is famous for.

  • Afternoon: We’ll turn the terrain up slightly, exploring line choices, and diving into some more coaching to help up the control and confidence on these BC classics!

  • Post ride cheers over a nice cold drink at the beautiful Beer Farmers local microbrewery, then head back into town for dinner.

  • Accommodation - comfortable twin share in Pemberton with mountain views.

DAY 9 - LAST RIDE DAY PARTY LAPS  ↓

  • Today's ride continues to move into a higher mileage stage where we get loads of application time on Pemberton’s unique and technical singletrack.

  • Shuttle laps to access the big-mountain descents and apply the wealth of skills we’ve learned so far.

  • Once our legs are tired and our hearts are full, we’ll get back on the magic school bus for a late afternoon transfer back to our home base hotel, around the corner from RideHub in Squamish (~1hr 15mins).

  • Evening: wrap up and group debrief/celebration over dinner.

DAY 10 - PACK UP, HIGH FIVES, & TRANSFERS  ↓
  • Breakfast, coffee, and reflecting on an awesome week with an even better crew, at RideHub, of course!
