Agreement
By signing this form, I confirm that I have read, understood, and agreed to the Payment Terms, Refund Policy, and Weather Policy outlined below.

Waiver

Every person must sign our waiver once a year in order to participate in any courses or lessons offered by "The Mind Mountain". This is mandatory and will remain valid for the calendar year during which the service is provided. A new waiver must be signed each year, even for returning clients.

Payment Terms

• Secure your spot with a payment of $5,000 paid in full or $6,000 on a 12-month payment plan (Or a pre-discussed custom amount, which depends on the agreed-upon initial deposit amount).

• If alternate payment increment arrangements have been made, failure to pay on time may result in forfeiting your spot and deposit.

• All prices are in CAD and include an additional 5% GST.

Refund Policy

• Cancellations made more than 30 days before the commencement of training (online and/or in person) will receive an 80% refund of the total package price.

• Cancellations between 30 and 14 days before the commencement of training (online and/or in person) will receive a 50% refund of the total package price.

• Cancellations within 14 days of the commencement of training (online and/or in person) start date are non-refundable.
   

One-on-One Lesson Reschedule Policy

• We understand that life gets busy, especially over summer, and we always do our best to be flexible - particularly for our Full Circle members. That said, due to the volume of reschedule requests we receive and the fact that Jake's availability is limited, we do have a strict reschedule policy in place.

• When Jake holds a time slot for you, that time is reserved exclusively for your session - meaning no one else can book it.

• Within 14 days of your scheduled lesson, our ability to fill that spot with another booking is very limited given that we work with only a small number of riders at a time to keep the quality high, and as a result we are unable to honour reschedule or refund requests within this window — notwithstanding the Injury Policy outlined below.

• Reschedule requests made more than 14 days before your scheduled lesson are subject to The Mind Mountain's prior approval and a $45 administration fee.

• Reschedule or refund requests made within 14 days of the scheduled lesson date cannot be accommodated. The session will be considered forfeited.

We appreciate your understanding - this policy exists so that we can continue showing up fully for every client, every session.

Injury Policy

• In the unfortunate event that either Jake or you (the client) are rendered unfit to ride for any reason during an ongoing coaching package, every effort will be made to reschedule any remaining sessions once you’re cleared to ride again.

• Please note that all packages are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. If pricing remains the same, special consideration to reschedule may still be made on a case-by-case basis. If pricing has increased in the subsequent 12-month period and you’d like to continue coaching beyond that time, the option to pay the difference can also be considered on a case-by-case basis.

• If Jake is injured and unable to coach, your package will be immediately paused from the date of his injury and will resume once he is cleared to return to riding and coaching.
  
   

Weather Policy

• Rescheduling may occur due to unsafe weather. Every effort will be made to reschedule Private Lessons and Skills & Drills rides rescheduled at our discretion due to unsafe weather or conditions. No refunds will be issued if you cannot make the rescheduled Skills & Drills Ride dates.

• Squamsh’s coastal rainforest conditions mean that significant rain is normal. Riders are expected to dress and ride appropriately.
