A 2-day weekend Mountain Biking Intensive = one hell of a ride!! Join us as we explore and break down each performance factor of Mountain Biking through a purposeful, progressive, process designed for advanced riders who are ready to grow. During the sessions, we discover what our strengths are, where we can continue to grow, and set about beginning the process of becoming a truly ‘balanced’ rider who is finely tuned in all four planes - the Technical, Physical, Mental, and Equipment. Expect full days of action-packed workshops on the trails and in the forest with plenty of time to apply newfound techniques on a variety of advanced terrain typical of Squamish Black and Double Black trails, all the while receiving precise feedback. Here’s an example of how the 3 days may look: ~Day one - On the trail, all day long, dialing in those technical skills. Equipment setup and tuning in the PM. ~Day two - Unlocking the power of the mind in beautiful forest settings for the AM. Explore and apply on trial in the PM. Reach new heights as we unlock your course goals on an epic morning group ride. The intensive may be coming to an end but the growth isn’t, we reflect on the weekend and build a 3-month progression plan to keep the good times rolling. Round it all out with a relaxing, restorative Yoga for Mountain Bikers session. Leave transformed, ready to enjoy the ride like never before! ~About You: You live and breathe Mountain Biking. You find it hard to recall how many ‘years you have been riding?’ You eat Squamish Black-level trails for breakfast and are hungry for more. With that said, you’re open and ready to learn. You may feel like you’ve been experiencing a plateau in your riding or don’t know how to challenge yourself without upping the risk/reward ratio beyond your personal limits. You want to become a rock-solid rider who can focus entirely on whatever makes the sport fun for you - be it going fast, unlocking new features, or keeping up with riding buddies (or kids😉) - whatever it is, you’re ready to drop in and let the learning begin!
